"Sometimes it is quite difficult to find a human within.

Catwoman had a lots of fun being half cat. She could see in the dark, she was very flexible and could enter all the narrow places in her palace....and most important, she could also die from time to time, without too much worry what happens after death, as she had nine lives to live or waste as she pleased.
But from time to time, she missed being human, with all the good things that only humans could do.
One Monday morning, after the crazy weekend when she accidentally died twice, the catwoman felt really blue. She thought how it would be to have the power to become human, even for a few days.
Few days later a black horse came to her palace and told her that among all the dogs that lived in the palace, there was a special dog who knew where to find a blue magic worm that was hidden somewhere in the soil of the nearby forest.
The worm had all kinds of great powers and one of them was to turn catwoman into human again.

Catwoman had so many dogs in the palace, that she couldn't possibly tell which dog could be the one who could find the magic worm.
First she thought it was the truffle dog, but after hours of searching the forest, she came home only with a kilo of truffles.
She had no other choice then to bring all the dogs from the palace into the forest in order for one of them to find the special worm…"

Inspired by nature, societal observation, and the world of fantasy, Croatian artist Nikolina Petolas opens the door to secret places where memories, desires, and the subconscious converge, existing somewhere between real life and imagination. Through allegory as a means of expression, she discovers a parallel world woven into dreams and disrupts our perception of reality. In her symbolic visual stories, Nikolina creates a deep narrative with profound compositions in her unique style by blending contemporary digital techniques with photography or through traditional painting. Nikolina's distinctive artistic style has captured the attention of prestigious clients such as Ferragamo and Marriot, with whom she has collaborated closely. Recognized in the field of contemporary surrealism and featured in numerous art books and publications, she also has a notable inclusion in 'Lexikon der Phantastischen Künstler' by Gerhard Habarta. Her signature Blue Pear series has gained worldwide recognition, earning numerous international art awards. Her impressive portfolio has been widely acclaimed and exhibited in galleries and museums across Europe, the United States, and Asia.
