Limited Edition #4/25 16x20" Matted (image area approx 10x10") To me, trees carry a strong metaphorical quality. Single trees speak of loneliness and strength. The interesting shapes and gestures that trees and individual branches can take on, always delight me. In this print I like the way the branch that is nearest to the water curves upward towards the hill in the distance. One can't help but wonder what will happen to the tree in the future. Will it tip over? This image is printed on Canson Platine Fiber Rag paper, a wonderful paper that is 100% cotton with no optical brighteners. The paper base white is just a shade on the warm side.
