This image is part of an on-going body of work shot in extreme nature settings in Colombia. I am interested in traveling to remote places where my only connection is with nature and art. My work is the result of unique and magical moments, captured in difficult to get to locations, requiring some physical and mental endurance to get to. Making art in extreme nature settings is part of a philosophy of life. My intention is to bridge the disconnect between the modern world and the natural world. Alma Mundi hopes to inspire closeness, healing, and reintegration with Nature. This project ennacts an intimate, visceral, dream-like experience of communion with sacred places, so that the energy contained in these images may contribute to crafting a new relationship with Alma Mundi, the Soul of the World.
