Govinda and Gopāla (Sanskrit/Hindi: गोविन्द/गोविंद and गोपाल) (also known as Govind, Gobind and Gopal) are the names of Vishnu which mean "The finder of Veda" & "Protector of Veda" as 'Go' means Veda, Cow and also senses. So Govinda, Gopala means Cowherd or Protector of Cows, or one who gives pleasure to senses. These names are also popularly addressed to Krishna, referring to his youthful activity as a cowherd boy. This name appears as the 187th and the 539th name of Lord Vishnu in Vishnu Sahasranama. Lord Vishnu or his complete incarnation Krishna are regarded as the Supreme God in the Vaishnava tradition and also by much of the pan-Hindu tradition.

Born in Kaunas on 13 May 1955. EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 1983 graduated Vilnius Art Academy, interior architect speciality. From 1997 assist. of prof. at Vilnius Art Academy. Read lectures on computer graphics, visual arts and contexts. From 2008 head of trans-discipline Arts studies at Vilnius Art Academy, Kaunas Faculty. From 2013 proffesor Vilnius Art academy, Kaunas Art Faculty. The author lives and works in Vilnius, works in the field of digital art. The works use photography, drawings, digital graphic editors, digital printing. Organized more than ten personal exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad. Many works have been published in art publications and internet platforms.
