About The Artwork

In April 2021 I delivered two monumental location-specific works for an office building at Thousand Oaks in California (USA). The idea was to add my rhythmic photographic works to enliven two large walls. The one depicted here is an 321" (8 m) high image in front of the stairwell in the reception area. By photographing the staircase at the MoMA (in New York) and duplicating them together with people walking up and down the stairs, an Escher-like maze appeared. In combination with the existing staircase of the building itself a very special spatial experience was created. For similar installations, please contact Saatchi Art. For sale as a limited edition please lookup my other work (same image concept) "MoMA Labyrinth" (I).
