Alone Photograph - Limited Edition of 10

Rome, April 13, 2020. Piazza del Popolo is usually crowded, full of tourists, artists, people walking or shopping in one of the busiest areas of the city. During the lockdown it was totally desert. I stayed a long time with my camera stopped waiting for a person to pass by the center of the square. A single person in such a large space, I think it better conveys the idea of emptiness. While taking this photograph, I had goosebumps with emotion. From the project “Out, there” (Là, fuori) I realized during the first lockdown for the Covid-19 pandemic. In the spring 2020 we were forced to close our doors, stay home under quarantine. All the photographs were shot inside or around my house in Roma. Only few of them were taken in the empty center of the city. -- The photograph is printed with a giclée process using fine art pigments on a museum grade art paper: Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta or Photo Rag 308, both premium quality acid-free cotton papers that ensure an extremely wide range of shades and details. Limited edition of 10. This artwork comes also in other sizes, listed separately. Signed below the image and on the back, and numbered. Comes with a signed Certificate-of-Authenticity of the artist.
