In my entire body of work, I think about the construct of time a lot and I try to find ways to depict aspects and ideas of time, timing or the passing of time and how it affects us in our lives as humans. I also like my paintings to be quiet, in some way silent and like a frozen moment. With the blurred affect within the painting, there is movement but yet, it feels like time has stopped and the viewer is witnessing a blink of an eye in time.
