here i have some philip guston, some elke krystufek, some frida kahlo anyway, going along with folklore and a lot of me, i started this 66x66cm paintings....because, an fb friend, professor at usak university, turkey, asked me to participate at their international show at the usak fine arts university gallery. because i'm poor of money, and sending paintings to turkey is very expensiv, and i had to pay the freight myself, i knew, i'd better do some paintings in a smaller size, went to the cellar, found those ominous 66x66cm stretcherbars, which size i like a lot, because since i'm older, i like the numbers 2, 4, 6, 8.... not like when i was young and liked the numbers 3, 5, 7, 9, so 66x66cm is absolutely perfect, even more as 66 has this secret meaning, and i'm always much attracted to secrets. so i will keep this 66cm using my own labtop pictures, letting them change, and take all forms life/art/soul/brain demands, in all the daily tumboil. thought to start to present my work in turkey might be good to take pictures of myself, and because i hadn't understood fb's new technic to download pictures, and i was short of new pictures, i made a big big series of labtop camera shots of my head. ein wilde mischung von einflüssen kommt zusammen, beim entstehen von etwas für mich neuem, und da ich gerade einen einführungskurs mache über die arbeit mit behinderten, mit welchen ich schon seit 3 jahren arbeite, und da sehr viel über alle möglichen und unmöglichen einflüsse auf die verschiedensten menschen und deren leben lerne.....passt alles.

investigation of soul some private voodoo theoretical speech as is often used to explain artwork, is not my medium. i use a lot of bad language in my daily life, that's how i can express myself with words. when i paint, it is very important to me how many unexpected things happen in the painting and while i'm painting. if there's nothing unexpected happening, the painting is bad, i trust my unconcious more then my concious. concious usually bores me. if not, i would be a philosopher. i start depicting a living object in each painting. while the painting evolves it can become totally abstract to the viewer.(not to me) i couldnt' do abstracts, would bore me. there must remain enough realism..... too wundervoll, is bad too. i use a lot of beloved artists' ways to paint and do art and mix several kinds in one painting, and write their names in or besides my paintings. there are karen kilimnik, tracey emin, doig, richter, kahlo, eisenmann, dumas, donachie, clemente,höch, von freitag, krystufek, goya, paula rego, otto dix...many more... i absolutely love art.a lot of art. anselm kiefer writes:............................. i'm interested in reconstructing symbols. it's about connecting with an older knowledge and trying to discover continuities in why we search for heaven........................................ me, myself, i'm looking for the older knowledge in my unconcious, probably finding, as jung would say, archetypes, symbols, which are maybe the same for all peoples in the world, maybe finding kind of an universal language.....
