My paintings are inspired by the elements I collect in everyday life, visually or otherwise; things that very often suggest impermanence and transition of life, spaces which are almost invisible or hidden, and objects which beautifully poise in between these spaces. I observe situations, people and their thoughts in the context of their own lives. I try to understand how things around me exist and why they exist in the way they do. These thoughts very often drive my imagination to freely search for the visual language which I am persistently pursuing in my painting. I explore relationships between the metaphysical world and the world of substance, between man and his surroundings.
