Signed and framed ( gilded wood and resin frame, no glass) work on a cotton, archival paper. Dimensions with frame: 12,5 x 14,5 inches( 32 x 37 cm). Work from the series: China from Ankh-Morpork, Or Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Death* (*But Were Afraid to Ask) "That`s how the Spider was either nowhere, or again it was once down here in the valley, once up there in the mountains; it hissed in the grass, fell from the ceiling, crawled out from underground. At midday when people were eating their porridge, it appeared at the end of the table staring at them, and before people, affected by fear calmed down, it was already sitting on the head of the host gazing over the table into blackening hands. During the night, it fell on people`s faces, met them in the woods and haunted them in the stable. They weren`t able to avoid it, the Spider was everywhere and nowhere, while awake, they couldn`t protect themselves from it, while sleeping, they also weren`t safe. When, in their opinion, they were the least exposed on the top of a tree under the open sky, soon the fire was crawling on their backs, they felt the spider`s fiery legs on their necks, the same spider looked over their shoulders. It doesn`t spared neither the child in the cradle nor the old man in his deathbed; it was a plague that no one had heard of before, and the dying was more terrible than any other, and even worse than dying was the boundless fear of the Spider, which was everywhere and nowhere, and at the moment when the man felt the most likely, the Spider suddenly looked into his eyes, heralding the Death."
