Here the pipers play, watch them march and enjoy these musicians' re-enactment of 1776. This painting has been created using my non- traditional poured watercolor and acrylic paint methods that I am known for. It has been painted on paper and comes to you matted with a museum rag mat board, measuring 30 x 30. The painting is ready for you to frame as you like. If you enjoy American history and fife and drums than this mixed water media on paper will look wonderful in your home or office.

Elise Meredith Beattie was born and educated in New York City. Beattie is a nationally recognized award winning artist & instructor. She is also a well known advocate of arts education and creative thought. Elise's art is influenced by her imagination, but in her work she likes to step beyond the reality of what is seen preferring to paint her feelings.
