About The Artwork
Women Royal Blue with Gold Earrings is the latest painting in my People series. A statement piece that will delight any environment. Almon Adeluwoye is interested in the individual and groups of people. Each person has been painted individually and celebrated for their uniqueness, but together they make a portrait of humankind. The background colour is a pale grey acrylic wash. The art work is acrylic painting on canvas, with small sections overlaid in patterned fabric. The earrings are made with gold leaf. Finished in a light satin varnish.
