About The Artwork
Winter Lake Connemara was inspired by a scene I saw on a winter trip to the beautiful area of Connemara in the West of Ireland. The work of artist Paul Henry inspired me to use this style to create very light coloured misty mountains. Using a palette knife I scrapped paint over and over the canvas to depict an image of morning mist rising from the lake. This painting comes beautifully framed and ready to hang.
