2012, painting, acrylic, 84x60, Contextual life. Socrates (470-399 BC) was the proponent of the modern "Scientific Method". Whilst Socrates's logic was transparent and clear, the court rejected it, and ordered him on pain of death to withdraw his theory. After much discussion with his friends, Socrates decided that his principles were more important, and therefore drank from the poisoned chalice.
