inspired by some events altering the human figures in a way that observes the emotion and the purpose of the environment. A celebration in human form, and our altered perception in which we all view ourselves. Rebecca Aldernet’s urban contemporary art defies explanation, providing commentary on the notion of collective versus private identities. Her art seeks to blur our perceptions of a shared reality. Her distorting of faces through organic and inorganic elements transcend our collective notion of how we exist in the physical world.
