About The Artwork
Painting; mixed media on paper. This work comes from my inner experience. I felt a lot of resistance during that period in my life. I was drawn to the color green (my last favorite color) and this painting took me a long time to make. It's painted on acid-free paper with high quality acrylics and other materials such as gesso, ink and markers. You can just hang it on your wall with two clips or frame it to your liking. Once finished I do think it has become a cheerful work so I hope it makes you smile.

When I am painting I don't doubt. To accomplish that it is necessary to be tuned in and to keep my mind clear. I work from intuition. A dialogue between my work and the painter inside me appears on the paper. My work can have strong graphic elements but it can also be very fluent. I work in Holland in "the werkplaats, a space for learning" by Erik Lemmens. My favorite painters a Kandinsky, Constant, Peter Doig and Gijs Frieling.
