'though I should walk now in the valley of the shadow of death, yet I will fear no evil, for thou art with me...' David's Psalm When I found out that my close friend Dima had died, recovering from the shock, I painted this picture. Like all my works, this one is also a metaphor. I would like to believe that death is the beginning of something good. I want to believe that there we can meet those we loved and go somewhere further together. Yes, it sounds a little corny, but we all think about this from time to time. I would note that for me this is a very positive and bright picture. I am pleased to look at this one and it inspires hope and even a life-affirming attitude. Framed in a simple wooden frame, ready to hang.
