About The Artwork
One of my first works to be concluded during the three months long lockdown in Spain, during the beginning of the Covid pandemic. My work began shifting from a sense of open, natural space, to more of a constructed, interior room. My work is improvisation based, paintings are a record of my emotional and mental "now". I never could find a suitable title for this painting, but somehow I feel it has to do with cogwheels - maybe a picture of adjustments. My increasing interest in contour is being expressed here, and I also thought a lot about George Roualt at the time. The painting is not stretched and can be hung as is, it works beautifully - or it may be mounted on a 146x114 cm stretcher (it has aprox 5 cm margin all around for that purpose)

I was born and raised in Sweden, and I've been living and painting in Spain for many years now. My painting is process driven and inspired by natural phenomena such as weather processes, the interplay between light and movement in the tree crowns and on the surface of the sea. Current obsessions include patterns, vibrations, colour... My work is abstract, and I think of it as an organic process. There is no previous plan. I do try to keep a sense of a moving whole, offering a somewhat unstable but hopefully vibrant picture to the viewer, as a point of observation and reflection.
