This painting is an ongoing exploration into movement and the vacillation of opposites in time and life. An ongoing interest of where we've been, where we are, where we're going and through the dialogue between the person and the painting, who we are. I am always interested in our navigation through life. The good, the bad, pretty and ugly. The cacophony of existence and the inspiration of onward and upward. My attempt is to not only speak of paint and painting but to go beyond the self referential into the whole self. Into the relationship between the person and painting. Beyond the square, into inspiration.
