About The Artwork
This painting explores my ongoing interest in time, movement and life. Where we've been, where we are, where we're going and through the dialogue between the person and the painting, who we are. Through scrubbing, drips and mark making I explore the physicality of painting and documenting of time. But I am interested in going beyond the self referential of paint and painting. Beyond the square, into the dialogue of the person and the painting. The interaction of the who self. Beyond what is seen into inspiration.
