About The Artwork
This continues the series I am working on in the 20"x 20" size. These paintings are all inspired by this year's crisis and are being painted while in lock-down. I take walks within the rust and ivy covered walls of my garden. I find comfort in creating an abstract version of all the patterns that are reflected on these walls. In this painting, I find a connection with all the altered patterns of our lives. We go to and fro, here and there, trying to adjust to constantly changing information. It is this rhythm of barely controlled confusion that I am attempting to convey.
