“TWIST OF LIFE” I have always been fascinated by swirls. In my opinion, tornadoes and hurricanes have always symbolized a certain nature's rebellion, as a demonstration of the power of chaos in the face of our attempt to control it. ⠀ Life, as represented by the blue ribbon, also follows like nature: impossible to be subjected to all our anxieties. If it's meant to be, it will be - and often not to our liking. Even so, we try to make some sense of adversity, seeing patterns and even positivity in otherwise incomprehensible situations. That's how we got to where we are and managed to keep our spirits strong. The whirlpools of life appear both to clear the ground of everything that was no longer firm, as well as to establish what is best in us once and for all, presenting new perspectives and renewing strength to continue our journey. When we internalize that life's storms also generate opportunities for growth, everything changes. There is even a certain peace. Even if nobody likes turbulence, the simple understanding of its inevitability already makes us stronger and prepared to navigate in the eye of the hurricane, and not in its extremities. Eric
