About The Artwork
These were done in a series of about 30 different paintings of this type, and these are my favorites. This is a huge 40" x 90" x 1.5" contemporary series made of 3 panels. Each panel was designed to be unique but uses colors from the other two to tie the series together. The background on each panel is sponged with darker tones at the bottom and fades lighter as it goes up. The foreground is a mix of drips, splatters and pours. The sides are splinted just like the background so there is no need for framing.
