This teapot and pitcher diptych painting is done in steel grey, black and white to look like raku-fired pottery (I absolutely love raku-fired pottery. Since I don’t own a kiln, nor am I a pottery artist, trying to capture the essence of them in a painting was my goal).    Each painting is on 20” x 20" x 1.5" museum-quality gallery wrapped canvas.  I used steel grey, black and white colored acrylic paint only, mixing them to achieve an elegant color and feeling.  The texture is created with acrylic mediums. The sides are white and the art is wired and ready to hang.
