About The Artwork
I've admired other paintings of glass and transparency. I found these bottles, and the colour as well of the three seemed to add another dimension to the subject. This is something I would like to try again. Usually I paint pretty solid objects. The painting came out in relatively flat areas of colour with a few highlights. Although I could have carried on working out nuances of colour and tone, at this point I felt I had captured the subject sufficiently and anything more risked over working.
