About The Artwork
My studio exists in the former offices of an old industrial building, including a human - sized safe from the early 1900's. Legend has it that at a party in the 1990's someone locked themselves in and had to be rescued by police drilling through the brick. This corner is one where I bring in plants to winter over and catch the strong southern-facing light that floods the space in the afternoon. This is part of a longer series of studio views and subjects I'll be working on this year.
