The painting was created during a coronavirus time. The painting is showing three people and three animals resting. They are look bored and tired. The painting is expressing the same felling that I had after a few weeks of coronavirus pandemic.Tiredness and boredom which were the results of the small number of tasks and routine. The days seemed to be longer then usual and everything looked very similar. All possibilities to do same activities outside have been forbidden. Contact with other person has been forbidden. The meeting with the family has been forbidden. All thing which were natural and normal for me, suddenly became strange and terrifying. Painting was inspired by all this strange and new felling like resignation and fear. Despite the carefree, light, optimistic colors and mild shapes the painting is not a happy story. They are in stagnation and do not know what will happen next. They can only lay and wait...

Poland
It is all about communication. A person trying to understand one of its own species, but also one of another [a pet or a wild animal]. Relationships are building blocks of our life. A partner, a mother, a grandmother, a neighbor, an employer. More or less intimate, public, secret, for show or real. You can find that out if you look closely, it is in the gestures and poses, and looks. Look for them in my paintings, as I try to understand this language. It is not about a realistic portrait but rather capturing the essence. By meanings of shapes, I want to tell that kind of universal stories like love, abandonment, hate, suffering, and loneliness. I want to try and find a new solution for the most typical forms using my own, individual language.
