One subject that i always love to revisit in my paintings are reflections in water,i love the complexity of them ,the layers the confusion of what colour something actually is.i enjoy working it all out like deciphering a code that bends between abstract and real.Painting in oils you can build endless layers ,apply it thick ,thin dribbling colours making marks with a brush or knife anything that helps create this feeling and adds to the atmosheric quality of the painting.
