About The Artwork
Contemporary abstract painting by artist Doron Noyman entitled The Future is Coming. Black crows fly above abstracted views of a city both during the day and at night as a younger person stands close by an older person. On one level it is a commentary on perspective, how standing at a distance can allow one to take in the whole, rather than being limited to one’s own "color block." On another, as reflected in the title, it is about the interdependence of people and cultures and how the coming together of people of varied backgrounds and experiences can create beauty by simply being together. Painting continues around the edges of the gallery wrapped canvas.
