About The Artwork
This gouache on paper refers to one of the most famous paintings known as wonderful exemples from School of Fontainebleau, which I saw for the first time in Uffizi Gallery in Florence and in Louvre Musee in Paris many years ago. On that painting two women are sitting together in the bath and interaction between them is orgnised around the gesture which is holding the breast. But then I have found a wonderful postcard in Brighton where two men was stylised in the same atmosphere. So, I decided to continue this subject with my own curiosity and idea about sexual relation between people in specific circumstances. I think it's just a beginning.

I'm a psychologist, clinical neuropsychologist, therapist and art historian. I work as a lecturer at Open University of University of Warsaw. My place of birth is Poland. I live and work in Warsaw. I usually paint "alla prima" using wet-on-wet technique. Most of my my oils are painted with a thick layer of oil paint not very diluted. That's because texture of paintings is important to me as well. I also like watercolors and gouaches. I usually paint very quick making one painting in one or two days, but some of my paintings are painted longer, f. ex. paintings which I decided to continue after few years.
