About The Artwork
This work began with water. Water mixed with acrylic paints. I moved the colors around gently and allowed them to flow in becoming their own design. It reminds me of a surreal hide-away. Somewhere inside a dormant volcano perhaps. Its rope-like embellishments remind me of the rope tied to an anchor. Sometimes it’s good to stay in one place and sometimes it’s okay pull up that anchor and go.
