About The Artwork
I wanted to paint tulips... I found a reference, bought a canvas of the right size and drew the sketch. However, viewing of cartoon "Moana" suddenly turned the plot of the picture in a different direction. I wanted to paint the azure sea, boats and palms. I named this picture "Thai in clouds". I have never been in Thailand, but it would be cool to see this place with my own eyes someday.

All my childhood I lived in a small town in Russia and one thing that very inspired me was nature. I was surrounded by beautiful mountains, fields, tall trees, rivers and lakes. It’s to my liking to portray nature as something mesmerizing and mysterious. My favorite painting technique is to add clouds and fog to the story of picture. I perceive all my art works through myself and often imagine myself in the place that I portray. I value each of my works very much and I hope my paintings will find a place in your heart.
