About The Artwork
I live and work in a unique area of North Portland, Oregon, at a confluence of river industry, woodlands, and an established working-class neighborhood. The Willamette River is part of my everyday existence and it is a phenomenal privilege to have this experience. When I amble along the river or stand among a grove of trees, I am witness to an orchestrated cacophony of shapes, tangles, ripples, waves, buzzing vigor, and enormous abundance.
