The times I have exhibited this painting lots of people immediately were saying "that looks like is a Monet". Funnily I was surprised the first time I heard this- but its true- there are strong visual relations. And I loves Monets water Lillies very much since teenage years. But I did not plan it to become an homage- the painting started as a view into a garden but became a water reflection on the way...
