This painting was inspired by a summers walk around the woods and lake near my home.It is a striking difference between the seasons here and hard not to be overcome with the energy and vibrancy that comes into play in the spring and summer, the vitality of green leaves and return of light seems almost medicinal to be amongst. My wanting to paint it is really to bring it home as a reminder of how beautiful and giving this vibrant aspect of nature is.Whilst painting this it came to mind that there was something reminiscent of Hockneys Yorkshire landscapes.Please note the painting is on a deep edged canvas so does not necessarily need framing, whilst the hanging system is not attached for shipping reasons ,it will be included with the painting.
