About The Artwork
I wanted to work with greens, especially sap green. Used other shades as well. Loved the use of white on the green especially using the palette knife, I started with green and then the picture took over and led me on its own conclusion. It is a stunning picture and hope the viewers feel the same way. Currently on display at Palmeri Restaurant in Brentwood.

I was born in Los Angeles, California, attended schools in West Los Angeles and have lived here all my life. I have always loved art. I see beauty in nature when the sun shines on leaves in trees and in the colors and shapes around me. I worked in the corporate world until I retired approximately 5 years ago. I was then able to follow a life long dream to create art. I first started with figure drawing but after a couple of years felt too confined. I love the freedom abstract art affords, both with the use of colors and textures. This fascinates me.
