About The Artwork
Using a technique based on diluted acrylic, I organized the paint areas one by one by using canvas movements, most often by tilting it, so as to control as much as possible the distribution of each colored area on the surface. To avoid some color overflows, I used absorbent paper, to create the fades, I let the colors mix by accepting the random results produced. As for the transparent overlays, it was necessary to wait for the complete and particularly long drying of each liquid layer before being able to spread another one with even more precautions. This work offers an abstract geological panorama as would a cut in the earth’s crust.
