This luminescent floral was inspired by a delightful still life combination of winter blossoms, spumoni, and a whimsical, potted mini cactus. Spumoni + Succulent is full of rich texture, and light. I hope to make the viewers feel happy, and peaceful when they see it. I chose heavy textured acrylic to give the painting a creamy depth, almost like an oil painting.
