Somewhere only we know Painting

I’ve been listening to Renée Dominique’s version of “Somewhere only we know” on repeat in the last couple of weeks. Something about the idea that there’s a special place, a secret place, really touched me, and I began to think about what that place might look like for me. It’s summer right now (even though the weather here is a little bit hit-and-miss), so I thought of a hidden corner of my imaginary dream home, in a quiet and secluded garden, where you can decorate the trees with festoon lights, the moon shines through the branches, and you settle down for a quiet dinner with a bottle of wine or two. It’s a place where my husband and I would live together happily ever after. The end. No, not the end, because it’s all imaginary, we still have to find such a place! Have a listen to the song and let it take you to that place that only you know!
