About The Artwork
This painting is one of several painted during the Covid-19 lockdown in Los Angeles. It was inspired by the complicated network of interlocking vines in my backyard that tumble down a rust colored wall. I spent many hours marveling at the play of lines created by these vines. They provided some solace and comfort in contrast with the uncertainty of the outside environment.
