Slipes through people's fingers. Summer #2 Painting

Nowadays human race start thinking that our planet can’t give us endless resource of nature. But it may be too late - beauty of nature slips through people’s fingers and flows down to waste. You can look around and you will see the folowing problems: global warming, greenhouse gas, Plastic Pollution and many others. And people are blamed for most of this global problems. Our activities influence to all sphere of our planet life. So we must remember about children, which will be living in lifeless planet; about whale, which will be suffocate in the ocean; about all of us… The Earth is great and lovely - every living being found here the room. But now, we don’t have place with satisfactory conditions for many of us . Please, look at the sky, mountains, flowers… think once more and answer: What world do you want your children to live in? I painted this artwork, when I studied the environment situation in the world. I couldn’t believe, that this beautiful nature someday will disappeared because of our rash actions. So on this canvas I painted flowers on the clear sky background, that are a symbol of our lovely planet. But this flowers are flowing down. And once it will flow away completely. The artwork is made with oil on canvas in mixed media. Impasto technique gestures with palette knife contrast with a smooth background. Smears create an atmosphere of engagement for the viewer - as if colors flow down the canvas in real time. This is one work from the series of paintings - slipes through people’s fingers.
