About The Artwork
The strong reflections make the image appear light despite the opulent expression. It is an eye-catcher in every room and does not appear overdecorated. For the completion on a stretcher, oil paint and an acrylic spatula as well as gold leaf metal were used. The colored backgrounds were created with the oil paint. I achieved the structures of the putty with a notched trowel. After the acrylic putty had dried, the metal was applied to a synthetic resin adhesive. After drying, the surface was sealed with a clear binder. The picture is delivered ready to hang in a wooden box.
