Simply Red Painting

The artistic project "AWAKENING" created by the Egyptian artist Rasha Amin, is the result of over two years of the artist's life in southern Italy during the pandemic. All works created in this period of isolation represent a true rebirth in fact, the energy of the canvases on display is the testimony that "as long as there is life, there is a hope". Every human being begins several times in life, a cathartic process through which we rediscover the joy of living, of improving our external and internal relationships, and in toto of giving an "intrinsic meaning to our existence". In the case of Amin, living in close contact with nature and being isolated from the world was her creative nourishment. The moment something so surprising happens that it turns our lives upside down like the pandemic has been, our ability to see beyond, and feel gratitude for life.
