About The Artwork
This painting was inspired by a beautiful walk through a forrest and rocky trail to a cave inlet of turquoise colored water in the island of Menorca. I am hoping the viewer will experience the feeling of dark and light as one walks through a dense forrest and the coolness of the air. I love working with translucent collage papers that I paint separately and then add gradually to the canvas as if putting together a puzzle. It is a way to blend and harmonize chance and purpose.
