Ripples and Reflections Painting

Stefanie Kroeger is a contemporary artist based on Auckland’s West Coast, New Zealand. She is mostly self taught as an artist but has done workshop style art courses. She has been a finalist in New Zealand Art Awards including The Adam Portraiture Award and Waikato National Contemporary Art Award. Realistic paintings featuring unusual aspects or close-up sections of everyday views are the main focus in her work. Cut off subjects leave room for the viewer’s personal interpretation, finishing the story that goes on around the canvas.
