About The Artwork

Original mixed-media painting collage on paper. My work is a reflection of the unconscious process of the ongoing stories we tell ourselves that create our reality. Guided by intuition and a process that focuses on mindfulness, each collage paintings is a non-linear story made of fragments sourced from cast-off materials from the world around me that are manipulated and reassembled. The collaged paintings are colorful and expressive, featuring gestural strokes, mark-making and various found papers representing ephemeral thoughts, visions and experiences. This piece represents the societal shifts taking place on a grand scale as individuals come together amidst the fear and paranoia to extend kindness and support to one another on a grand scale. Just as mother nature seems to be blooming, we are remembering our humanity and it's blossoming despite the doubts and worries that still exist or creep into our psyche. This piece is signed on the back, unframed and is on high-quality acid-free mixed-media paper that will require framing to display. A float mount is recommend.
