I found this discarded wood many years ago; too fascinating to let them throw it away...I gave it a new chance to show itself. It's so full of energy, 'till its last cut. This artwork, made for an exhibition during Expo Milan 2015, faces the problem of respecting food, especially if this means that animals are sacrificed to feed humans who ,too often, do not consider the origin of what they eat, almost never respecting animal's rights. The big Egg's split means the continue agony humans inflict on animals, hopefully going to change. It has been made by eggshell's pieces, glued and covered by resin.

My first exhibition wasn't a personal choice, but a forced one instead. At kindergarten, we kids were asked to do a drawing after the teacher told us a story about Garibaldi (an italian hero) and his wife Anita. I drew the couple on horseback. The teacher must have been very impressed by the picture. She seemed amazed, not believing her own eyes...That reaction made me first think my work was somehow wrong... Well, she took me through the other classrooms, showing my drawing to all her collegues. As a 5 year-old child, I neither understood very well their enthusiasm, nor appreciated their compliments and congratulations as I did not like being the focus of attention. So far, I've always felt a sort of aversion and allergy to exhibitions of my works, never wanting to be involved in any. But, life evolves and so do we. Now, perhaps thanks to the web, I've realized that since I enjoy other artists' work, they may like to see mine as well. And, hopefully, collectors would appreciate it too.
