About The Artwork
Rabbit on The Green was inspired by rabbits on the green, golf courses, early morning walks, and prey. Beware little rabbit or the big bad coyote will have you for breakfast. I wanted my portrayal of a rabbit to look vulnerable and nervous on a big patch of green. I often see them on my early morning walks in the desert and can’t help but think they are sitting ducks or in this case rabbits.

I am a multi-media artist from Oro Valley, Arizona. I graduated from Texas Woman's University in spring of 1992 with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. I also have a Master’s in Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University. My art work is an ongoing exploration of life and the world which surrounds me. I have always been fascinated with finding new ways of depicting emotions and moods through my use of line, movement, and texture.
