RAIN WAS INSPIRED BY NATURE, THE MYSTERY OF COLOR IN THE SKY AND COLOR THAT SURROUNDS US THAT WE DO NOT SEE. RAIN REPRESENTS THE GIFT OF WATER AND THE GIFT OF COLOR. I CHOSE TO PAINT THE FALLING RAIN IN COLOR RATHER THAN CLEAR BECAUSE THE RAINBOW IS MADE OF THE SAME MOISTURE INTERACTING WITH LIGHT.....JUST SEEN FURTHER AWAY. THE CLOUDS REPRESENT THE GATHERING OF A STORM OR THE DISTANT CALM OF CLOUDS SURROUNDED IN LIGHT. ENJOY! SUZAN COOK
