About The Artwork
This is an abstract oil painting on canvas. Quality oil paints and oil pastels have been used. My paintings represent emanation of unseen but very much felt by all of us: metaphysical portraits, landscapes or acts. Because of that during the creation process I don’t plan, I just paint them letting the emotions rule. Prometheus is a Titan who taught humankind various arts and was sometimes said to have shaped humans out of clay and endowed them with the spark of life. For having stolen fire from Olympus and given it to humankind in defiance of Zeus, he was chained to a rock where an eagle daily tore at his liver, until he was finally released by Hercules. It is ready to hang.

I am a literature professor in highschool, and all my life has been dedicated to art. I started painting in elementary school building my own style, guided by feelings and the frame of mind. All my pieces are original and non-production artworks. I had two exhibitions. I paint with oil colors on canvas or wood, sometimes I mix technics. My paintings represent emanation of unseen but very much felt by all of us: metaphysical portraits, landscapes or acts.
